Artistic restoration
A small chip or a gap between the teeth that is not wide (diastema) can be corrected with a direct restoration with composite materials in one visit to the dentist. It takes place directly in the patient's mouth.
Modern composites have the property of letting light through, so you cannot visually distinguish where your tooth is and where the restoration is. The duration of such restoration can be from 15 minutes to several hours, depending on the volume of work.
If the tooth is partially destroyed, depending on the volume, it can be restored again with photopolymers or with the help of a crown (indirect restoration). Crowns are made in the laboratory by a dental technician while the patient wears a temporary crown.
At least two visits to the dentist are required. Usually, crowns are made within a week.

The Solutions
Restoration of wedge-shaped defects, or restoration of teeth with loss of enamel in the area of the tooth neck, is an important dental procedure to improve the quality of the teeth and prevent possible complications.
-
Teeth can lose enamel in the cervical area due to abrasion (wear from peeling or mechanical action) or erosion (chemical effects such as acids).
-
Problems with the gums and periodontal tissue can lead to the loss of enamel in the neck area of the tooth.
-
Mechanical stress on the teeth due to an incorrect bite can cause enamel loss in the specified area.
-
Insufficient hygiene and incorrect brushing technique can contribute to the loss of enamel and the formation of wedge-shaped defects.
